CROSSFIT GROUP CLASSES

Here’s where you become the best version of yourself – in our classes! Led by our incredible coaches, our classes are designed to deliver three things – fun, great results and the best hour of your day. Expect lots of hands-on attention and new workout buddies cheering you on every step of the way. Based on the CrossFit prescription of “constantly varied functional movement executed at high intensity,” our CrossFit program combines strength training with the “classic” CrossFit cardio workout. For this 1-hour class, you could be working on pull-ups, rowing, burpees and much more. Every WOD is different so you never get bored! We scale each workout to your fitness level, so you get the maximum workout every time.

FOUNDATIONS INTRODUCTORY COURSE

By offering very small group or one-on-one training during the intro course, we minimize distractions and can pay maximum attention to your individual needs. In the Foundations Course, you will learn how to perform the fundamental CrossFit Movements safely and effectively, ensuring a seamless transition into the Group Workouts.

NUTRITION PROGRAM

Bear State Nutrition is focused on two phases, an introductory phase and an accountability phase. In the first phase, you get measurements and biometric testing done and then you are given a customized nutrition plan. In the second phase you get accountability and support and your plan is tweaked to make sure you are getting the best results.

ONE ON ONES / PERSONAL TRAINING

Sometimes we need a little focused energy placed on a specific movement or goal we have to get over the edge. In One on One coaching sessions you’ll work with a coach, assess where you are and work toward improvement. You’ll leave with a plan, progressions and homework to progress in between sessions.

In today’s busy world, it’s hard to find the time to get regular exercise. So it’s important to make the most of the time you have. Bear State CrossFit offers a wide range of Personal Training to help you achieve your ideal body. Your personal trainer will develop an exercise regimen suited specifically for you.

KETTLEBEARS

Kettlebears is meant to be BIG fun for kids ages 7-12.  Broad-Inclusive-General fun. Fun means we provide an active alternative to sedentary pursuits, which means less childhood obesity and all-around better health for our children. Based on the principle of Mechanics, Consistency and then Intensity, Kettlebears emphasizes good movement throughout childhood and adolescence.  Consistently good mechanics translates to physical literacy, enhanced sports performance and fewer sports injuries for kids.  Not only that, a vast body of research indicates that exercise is beneficial to cognitive function, which means consistent adherence to the program can have a positive impact on children’s academic achievement.
